This is a tricky question. While vinyl can be painted, it has the potential to come with many problems. First, it voids the warranty, and the paint may cause the vinyl to warp. Second, it requires a lot of paint to actually change the color. Third, you would be turning a virtually maintenance free product into a product that will need to be maintained. However, if you really, really have a burning desire for an alternate shade, you’ll want to paint it with special epoxy-based paint Fusion by Krylon.
